Campus Security

Campus Security is available to assist the campus community with first aid, safety & security concerns, and more — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Officers patrol the campus on foot, bicycle and visibly marked security vehicles and respond to calls for assistance with any situation that is concerning or suspicious.

Office of the University Counsel

University Counsel provides strategic legal advice and a full range of legal services directly to the University, its senior administration, the Board of Governors, the Senates, and the Council of Senates. This includes providing strong and responsible advocacy before courts, administrative agencies, or other public bodies; overseeing the development and review of Board of Governors’ policies and delegated signing authorities; ensuring UBC’s compliance with British Columbia’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act; and regulating and managing UBC’s conduct systems and internal administrative tribunals.
