Employees of the UBC Equity & Inclusion Office are encouraged to attend conferences as part of their professional development. Prior to conference registration, please review the following guidelines and, as needed, complete the conference participation form.
The following is generally the process to follow with respect to conference participation:
- Review available conferences using our conference tracking sheet located in the home folder of our shared drive. Please add any conferences you are aware of that have not been listed.
- Fill out the conference participation form below. Please complete one entry per conference. Presentations are strongly encouraged.
- Following submission, review, and approval, you can begin planning the necessary registration and travel.
Please note that AAPS employees are expected to user their PD allotment towards conference attendance. If you have other professional development requests, please send those directly to the Associate Vice-President, Sara-Jane Finlay.
